The Himalayan Club & The Explorers Club South Asia Chapter organized an illustrated talk "George Mallory - Everest Pioneer" by Conrad Anker at the India Habitat Center, New Delhi on Wednesday, 7th September, 2011. This is a recording of that event.
According to Wikipedia, Conrad Anker (born 1962) is an American rock climber, mountaineer, and author famous for his challenging ascents in the high Himalaya and Antarctica. He is a member of The North Face climbing team and also works closely with Timex Expedition as brand ambassador. In 1999 he was a key member of the search team which located the remains of legendary British climber George Mallory on Mount Everest. Anker is the climber who spotted Mallory's body. He lives in Bozeman, Montana.
In 2007, he led the Altitude Everest Expedition 2007, joined by Leo Houlding, Jimmy Chin and Kevin Thaw, and retraced Mallory's last steps on Everest.

great enduring mysteries, and Conrad's discovery of Mallory's body and analysis of the
find has shed new light on the pioneering climbs of the early expeditions on the slopes of
Everest. Being a member of the Mallory & Irvine Research Expedition, Conrad is
uniquely placed to give us a first-hand account of the emotions felt upon finding the
body of Mallory 75 years after the legendary explorer's disappearance from the slopes of
Everest as well as its significance in the Everest climbing history.
