Independent MP from Amaravati Navneet Rana was discharged from the Lilawati Hospital on Sunday. Soon after getting discharged from the hospital, Navneet Rana challenged CM Uddhav Thackeray to contest elections against her. Notably, due to neck pain she was admitted in hospital around five days ago. Navneet Rana said that "I challenge Uddhav Thackeray to contest elections from any constituency and I will contest against you and show you what woman power is".
