Fortum's subsidiary, German-based Uniper, is one of the biggest importers of Russian gas to Europe.
Eight activists hung the colourful banner emblazoned with a peace symbol, the Greenpeace logo and the phrase: "Stop fuelling war!" in Espoo, Finland.
