On Friday, the Ministry of Education announced that following a meeting with the Police Service and other stakeholders, increased police patrols had already been instituted to curb school violence.


The Trinidad and Tobago Unified Teachers Association was asked for an update on the situation today, and revealed that this has not been implemented as yet based on the information TTUTA has at this time.
