Reserve bank expected to signal interest rate rises

This week inflation in Australia spiked to it's highest level in more than two decades at 5.1 per cent. And most economists agree that interest rates are heading up and soon. Independent economist Saul Eslake says that the spike in the inflation rate will increase pressure on the reserve bank to raise interest rates, earlier that they would have liked to.
