At present, there will be no MCD elections in Delhi, President Ram Nath Kovind has taken a big decision regarding this. In fact, after the bill to unite the three municipal corporations was passed in the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha, it has now got the assent of the President. As soon as the President's assent, the bill to unite the three corporations of Delhi has become a law. After this, the brakes have been put on the possible elections of Delhi Municipal Corporation.

दिल्ली में फिलहाल MCD चुनाव नहीं होगा, इसको लेकर राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद ने बड़ा फैसला लिया है. दरअसल, तीनों नगर निगमों को एक करने का बिल लोकसभा और राज्यसभा में पास होने के बाद अब उसे राष्ट्रपति की मंजूरी मिल गई है. राष्ट्रपति की मंजूरी मिलते ही दिल्ली के तीनों निगमों को एक करने वाला विधेयक कानून बन चुका है. इसके बाद द‍िल्‍ली नगर न‍िगम के संभाव‍ित चुनावों पर फ‍फिलहाल ब्रेक लग गई है.
