The Modular Advanced Armed Robotic System or we say MAARS is a powerful, modular, and combat-ready unmanned ground vehicle designed specifically for reconnaissance, surveillance, and target acquisition missions to improve the security of personnel stationed at forward locations. Interesting right? But what does Elon have to do with it? Well Elon is the one who introduced this terrifying Bot. Let's know more! Hey guys! Welcome back to our channel Elon Musk Evolution where we tell you all the latest news about Elon Musk and his multi-billion companies. In today’s video we are going to tell you about this amazing, deadly bot which is specifically designed by Elon for the US army! The US army's Modular Advanced Armed Robotic System (MAARS) Robot was successfully modified by Elon Musk. This modification transformed this small robot tank into a larger robot tank that enemies would certainly avoid. MAARS keeps Soldiers safe from enemy fire while carrying out security missions like ambushes, hostage rescues, forced entry, booby-trapped areas, detainee riots, site security, and IEDs. RSTA sensors can be placed up to several kilometres away from critical locations, signalling threats and allowing for immediate response if necessary. MAARS is equipped with a number of safety features and is only operational when it receives coded instructions from its operator. When the Rules of Engagement (ROE) calls for it, MAARS has a variety of options for escalation of force, ranging from non-lethal laser dazzlers and audio deterrents to less-than-lethal grenades to lethal fires from a grenade launcher or machine gun. It has a number of features that would benefit the Military. For sure if Elon has launched it, he might have something big in his mind. This Bot is just in its early stages and It has already sparked debates about the ethics of using robots as killing and war machines. Satellite tracking systems, day and night cameras, a hostile fire detection system, and a smorgasbord of weapons (both lethal and non-lethal) that can be operated remotely are all options for the MAARS robot. Well the launching of this bot is quite an irony as we know Musk is known for his support and development of new technology, he has long been critical of the rapid advancement of robotics, citing a film from when he was just 13 as an example. “I like to just keep an eye on what’s going on with artificial intelligence,” Musk told CNBC’s Closing Bell in 2014, adding: “There have been movies about this, you know, like ‘[The] Terminator.’ There are some scary outcomes.” Musk mentioned "The Terminator" once more in 2017, citing his neurotechnology company Neuralink, which aims to develop brain implants for humans to interface with machines as a defence against a threat like Skynet, the 1984 film's AI antagonist. He wrote on Twitter, "That is the aspiration: to avoid AI becoming another." Later that year, while speaking at the National Governors Association's annual summer meeting in Washing
