Assam State Disaster Management Authority bulletin reported that at least 14 people including minors were killed as severe storms and rains lashed various parts of Assam over the past two days. More than 20,000 people in 592 villages have been affected in different districts of Assam due to heavy rainfall accompanied by the storm.
