The Transport Minister says there will be no increase in the cost of transportation provided by Public Transport Service Corporation buses "at this point in time" as the price of the diesel they use is set to increase by 50 cents per-litre seven days from now.

The Minister made the announcement in response to questions from the media as he visited a desilting operation at one of the country's rivers on Tuesday.
