The Prime Minister's decision to start the campaign on the south coast is a sure sign the Liberals want to win back the marginal seat of Gilmore from Labor. But the visit also brought up an uncomfortable past event when the Liberal candidate Andrew Constance claimed that Scott Morrison received the welcome he probably deserved when he visited bushfire affected communities in early 2020.
