Rising crude oil prices dampened market optimism, and Indian equities indices dipped on Tuesday, halting a big advance in the previous two sessions. Brent crude futures jumped 1.4% to $109.10 per barrel. The 30-share BSE Sensex fell 435 points, or 0.72 percent, to conclude at 60,177, while the NSE Nifty fell 96 points, or 0.53 percent, to 17,957. In the previous two sessions, the domestic indices had risen about 3.5 percent each.
