On this week’s episode of “Acquired Taste,” Tim Chantarangsu and special guest Trevor Wallace head to Wassada in Los Angeles to try a seafood dish that’s so fresh it’s basically still alive when you eat it. It’s a Korean dish called Sannakji that prepares a live octopus by simply chopping it up and serving it immediately, still squirming on the plate. While it is technically dead, the tentacles sometimes squirm so much that they can choke you when you swallow. It might sound scary or unusual, but this dish is a widely beloved snack in Korea. Watch as Tim and Trevor talk comedy, eat their way through a Korean feast, and finally take on the main event and live to tell the tale.
