At the 94th Academy Awards, Will Smith slapped Chris Rock after the comic made a joke about the actor's wife Jada Pinkett Smith. Jim Carrey, responding to theugly incident said that he found it ‘sickening’ to see Smith get a standing ovation from the crowd minutes later, when he won an Oscar for his performance in King Richard. He further said that he would have sued the Oscar winner for $200 million.
