The fire of violence that broke out in Birbhum may have subsided, the tears of mourning for those who died in that fire may have dried up, the lips of those mourning them may have started to cry and their cries are undoubtedly silent. It may have started happening, but some politicians are still cracking their throats on that violence. The way the sentiments were felt on that tragic fire, more aggression is visible about how to put the responsibility of that incident on someone else's head.

बीरभूम में भड़की हिंसा की आग भले ही शांत हो गई हो, उस अग्निकांड में झुलस कर मरने वालों के लिये बह रहे मातम के आंसू भले ही सूखने लगे हों, उन पर विलाप करने वालों के कंठ रूंधने लगे हों और उनके रूदन-स्वर बेशक मौन होने लगे हों, लेकिन उस हिंसा पर कुछ सियासतदान अभी भी गला खुरच रहे हैं। उस दुखद अग्निकांड पर संवेदनाएं जिस तरह बयानी-महसूस हुए, उससे कहीं ज़्यादा आक्रामकता इस बात को लेकर दिखाई दे रही है, कि कैसे उस कांड की जिम्मेदारी दूसरे के सिर मढ़ दी जाए।
