The campaign for local candidates begins this Friday, March 25. And as we're going to show you tonight "all politics is local," but first a slice of national politics.
The President's political party — at least half or a faction of it — has endorsed the candidacy of survey frontrunner Bongbong Marcos. That was the announcement this morning. The other half or the other faction has Manny Pacquiao but of course he's running as PROMDI standard bearer.
In November last year, President Duterte rejected an alliance with Lakas-CMD, his daughter's party because she's running with Marcos. The President called Marcos a "weak leader."
