Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav on March 22 tendered his resignation from membership of Lok Sabha to Speaker Om Birla. He was a Lok Sabha MP from Azamgarh. In the recently held Uttar Pradesh Elections, Akhilesh Yadav was elected as an MLA from the Karhal seat. Akhilesh Yadav will lead the party in the state and play the role of Opposition leader in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly.
