Health stakeholders to hire at least 12,000 health workers annually

Health sector stakeholders have resolved to increase the number of healthcare workers by at least 12,000 annually. This is to bridge the doctor, nurse and midwife ratio as recommended by the World Health Organisation and move towards the attainment of Universal Health Coverage.
