Dr Mahathir Mohamad has once again refuted claims that DAP had him under their thumb, when Pakatan Harapan was in power.

"To say that DAP controls me... I think you are insulting me if you think DAP can control me," Mahathir said sternly.

Speaking to Malaysiakini in an exclusive interview on Thursday, Mahathir said he gave everyone the opportunity to speak during cabinet meetings and the cabinet discussed and either approved or rejected any proposals that came up.
