In Uttar Pradesh, the issue of EVM tampering continues, opposition parties have started raising questions about EVMs even before the results. Swami Prasad Maurya, who left the BJP and joined the SP just before the election, also reacted to this and demanded action from the Election Commission.Swami Prasad Maurya said that we believe in the Election Commission, but due to the incident from Varanasi to Bareilly, question marks have been raised.

Uttar Pradeshमें EVM से छेड़छाड़ के मुद्दे पर बवाल जारी है, विपक्षी दलों ने नतीजों से पहले ही ईवीएम को लेकर सवाल उठाने शुरू कर दिए हैं. चुनाव से ठीक पहले भाजपा छोड़कर सपा में शामिल हुए स्वामी प्रसाद मौर्य (Swami Prasad Maurya) ने भी इस पर प्रतिक्रिया दी और चुनाव आयोग से कार्रवाई करने की मांग की.
स्वामी प्रसाद मौर्य ने कहा कि हम चुनाव आयोग में विश्वास रखते हैं , लेकिन वाराणसी से बरेली तक में हुई घटना की वजह से सवालिया निशान खड़े हुए हैं।
