Before leaving for Slovakia, Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju on March 01 said that India’s top priority is to bring back Indian citizens safely from Ukraine.

 “We will be coordinating the overall evacuation operation in Slovakia and will seek co-operation from their government regarding visas for our students coming from Ukraine. Our top priority is to bring back our citizens safely,’ said the Minister while speaking to ANI.

Kiren Rijiju is going to Slovakia as India’s special envoy to coordinate evacuation operations amid the Russian military operation in Ukraine.
