crossing the Atlantic and is expected to cause , “significant disruption and dangerous
conditions due to extremely strong winds.".
According to the Met Office, Storm Eunice
is expected to make landfall on February 18. .
The meteorological office
of Ireland also issued an alert, warning of, "severe and damaging winds,", as well as the possibility of coastal flooding.

Dudley, hit the U.K. on February 16. .
While Dudley disrupted transport,
damage was not widespread. .
The Met Office reportedly warned that southwest
England is expected to get the worst of Eunice. .
