Assembly elections are to be held in Manipur in two phases on February 28 and March 5. Election campaigning is in full swing in the state ahead of the elections. Before the elections, Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh is on Manipur tour. During this, Rajnath Singh reached the house of a martyr of the Indian Army in the capital Imphal and had lunch there. He was accompanied by Chief Minister N. Biren Singh was also present.

Manipur elections 2022: मणिपुर में 28 फरवरी और 5 मार्च को दो चरणों में विधानसभा चुनाव (Assembly elections) होने हैं. चुनाव से पहले राज्य में चुनाव प्रचार जोरों पर है. चुनाव से पहले केंद्रीय रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह (Defence Minister Rajnath Singh) मणिपुर दौरे पर हैं. इस दौरान राजनाथ सिंह राजधानी इंफाल में भारतीय सेना के एक शहीद जवान के घर पहुंचे और वहां दोपहर का भोजन किया. उनके साथ मुख्यमंत्री एन. बीरेन सिंह (Chief Minister N. Biren Singh) भी मौजूद रहे.
