Worthing duo Royal Blood opened the NME Awards 2015 with Austin, Texas with a blistering version of their track 'Figure It Out' taken from their self-titled debut album released in summer 2014. Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher went on to to win a pair of awards at the show, including Best Live Band supported by Dead Crow Spirit Flavoured Beers and Best New Band supported by Replay. They also presented one of their heroes, Jimmy Page, with a special one-off prize, the NME rock'n'roll soul award.
