The game's standard edition will include four fictitious armies, but you can add an additional four licensed armies by either purchasing the game's Hall of Fame edition, snagging the Legendary Heroes' Pack, or buying them individually.

The licensed armies include: G.I. Joe, the all-American hero; his nemesis Cobra Commander; Assassin's Creed 2's dashing playboy Ezio Auditore da Firenze; or He-Man of Masters of the Universe fame.
