On February 8, Karnataka High Court requested the public and students to maintain peace amid the hijab row. The High Court is hearing petitions filed by five women from a government college in Udupi, questioning hijab restrictions. The high court, which heard the matter on February 8, will continue the hearing on February 9. The court also asked students and the public at large to maintain peace.
