Very few people are aware that the most famous song of the movie Mughle Azam, Jab Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya, was made by Naushad to Lata in a bathroom. The reason for this was that at that time there was no such technology and such instruments in the country so that the voice could be echoed. For this Naushad had adopted this method. The song was recorded in the bathroom to add resonance to the song.

बेहद कम लोग इस बात से वाकिफ हैं कि मुग्‍ले आजम फिल्‍म के सबसे मशहूर गीत जब प्‍यार किया तो डरना क्‍या, को नौशाद ने लता से एक बाथरूम में गवाया था। इसकी वजह थी कि उस वक्‍त देश में ऐसी तकनीक और ऐसे इंस्‍ट्रूमेंट्स नहीं थे जिससे आवाज में गूंज लाई जा सके। इसके लिए नौशाद ने ये तरीका अपनाया था। गीत में गूंज लाने के लिए इस गाने को बाथरूम में रिकार्ड किया गया। इस गीत ने गजब की धूम मचाई थी।
