Aboriginal health and legal services say their worst fears are being realised as remote communities and prisons with high Indigenous populations battle COVID-19 outbreaks. The peak body for First Nations legal services is claiming there's a real risk of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander deaths in custody as COVID spreads among inmates.
