Ahead of the Punjab Assembly election, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi visited the Golden Temple in Amritsar along with the party's candidates for the upcoming polls. 

However, in a setback to the Congress, five MPs and leaders of the party decided to boycott Rahul Gandhi's rally in Punjab. The delegation includes MP Manish Tewari, Ravneet Singh Bittu, Jasveer Singh Gill, Muhammad Sadiq, and Parneet Kaur. 

Meanwhile, playing down the reports of the ‘boycott’, Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal said that they were just baseless rumours and were "not true". Watch the full report for more details.
