SEA Games and ASEAN Para Games silver and bronze medallists will get higher allowances of RM1,500 and RM1,000, respectively starting this year.

Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu said on Wednesday (Jan 26) that the increment is to ensure the continuity of the athletes’ training plans and welfare.
