The trio shares their thoughts on the stereotyping of female characters in cinema and narratives in cinema that should be retired. Actress Sanam Saeed talks about her experience playing her character Zubi and actress Sarwat Gilani goes on to talk about her character Mehek in the series. The director, Meenu Gaur chats about how she came up with the concept for ‘Qatil Hassenao Ke Naam’ mentions that “There are films that are inspired from life and then there are stories that you want to tell that are engaging from cinema itself. In this story, this is my engagement with archetypes and centuries of storytelling. From the black and white era, we have always been okay flawed heroes, we have been okay with heroes that do not have a moral compass. It is on the women to keep the moral universe of the films on their shoulders. I find that annoying.”
