Former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak said he had to pay the price for choosing to voice out the truth in the 14th General Election which resulted in BN’s defeat.

He said as the prime minister at the time, he could not make the type of promises made by Pakatan Harapan just to win an election.

He said he was faced with a choice; whether to promise Malaysians the moon or to be honest to the people.
