Before the assembly elections in Goa, the Congress has suffered another major setback. State Congress spokesperson Rakhi Prabhudesai has resigned from the party. He has joined TMC. Rakhi joined the party on Wednesday evening in the presence of TMC's Goa in-charge and MP Mahua Moitra. Rakhi said that she decided to join the Trinamool as it is the only political alternative to the Bharatiya Janata Party in Goa.

गोवा में होने वाले विधानसभा चुनाव (Goa Assembly Eletion 2022) से पहले कांग्रेस (Goa Congress) को एक और बड़ा झटका लगा है. प्रदेश कांग्रेस की प्रवक्ता राखी प्रभुदेसाई (Rakhi Prabhudessai Naik) ने पार्टी से इस्तीफा दे दिया है. उन्होंने टीएमसी (TMC) जॉइन कर ली है. टीएमसी की गोवा प्रभारी और सांसद महुआ मोइत्रा की उपस्थिति में बुधवार की शाम को राखी ने पार्टी की सदस्यता ग्रहण की. राखी ने कहा कि उन्होंने तृणमूल में शामिल होने का फैसला किया, क्योंकि ये गोवा में भारतीय जनता पार्टी का एकमात्र राजनीतिक विकल्प है।
