Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and launch several other projects worth over Rs 17,500 crore in Haldwani in poll-bound Uttarakhand on Thursday. The 23 projects which will be inaugurated today cover a wide array of sectors/areas across the state including irrigation, road, housing, health infrastructure, industry, sanitation, drinking water supply, the PMO said.
