In one of the biggest seizures in history, the Directorate General of GST Intelligence (DGGI) seized over Rs 195 crore in cash, 23 kilograms of gold and sandalwood oil worth Rs 6 crore after conducting searches at several premises linked to Uttar Pradesh businessman Piyush Jain in Kanpur and Ujjain. The officials searched the residential premises of Piyush Jain, partner of Odochem Industries, in Kanpur and seized unaccounted cash to the tune of Rs 177.45 crore. Watch this video.
