As the COVID-19 pandemic rages on, misinformation and fake news have hit our rural communities hard, contributing to vaccine hesitancy. The Quint’s fact-checking team WebQoof and health team FIT have been working round the clock to debunk these myths, rumours and falsehoods.



We have been producing text stories, audio content, videos and conducting awareness drives to dispel rumours. Our aim has been to reach out to people, particularly women, in parts of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, and Assam.
