The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to impose a night curfew in the state from Christmas. Till Thursday, India recorded 346 Omicron cases. Maharashtra and Delhi registered the highest number of patients at 88 and 57 respectively. The Allahabad High Court, meanwhile, urged the Centre to stop political rallies in election-bound states.
