Heavy snowfall is occurring in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, while on the other hand a Western Disturbance is active in the north, due to which North India is in the grip of cold. Cold wave continues in Delhi, Gujarat, Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, from Kashmir. The temperature has reached minus in many areas of North India till Rajasthan, while now the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rain in Delhi on 27 and 28 December.

हिमाचल प्रदेश औऱ जम्मू कश्मीर में भारी बर्फबारी हो रही है, तो वहीं दूसरी तरफ उत्तर में पश्चिमि विक्षोभ एक्टिव है, जिसके कारण उत्तर भारत ठंड की गिरफ्त में है।दिल्ली गुजरात पंजाब चंडीगढ़, हरियाणा बिहार मध्यप्रदेश और राजस्थान में शीतलहर जारी है,कश्मीर से लेकर राजस्थान तक उत्तर भारत के कई इलाकों में तापमान माइनस तक पहुंच गया है,वहीं अब भारत मौसम विज्ञान विभाग (आईएमडी) ने दिल्ली में 27 और 28 दिसंबर को बारिश की संभावना जताई है.
