Amid uproar from opposition, Lok Sabha passed the Election Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2021, that will link Aadhar with Voter ID. Law Minister Kiren Rijiju introduced the bill that also changes the process of requisition of properties for electoral purposes and attempts to enforce gender neutrality.
