Just 3 weeks ago Omicron was announced as a Variant of Concern and now it has reached at least 94 countries. It has now been confirmed that Omicron is faster at spreading infection, but is much slower than Delta in making seriously ill. Research by the University of Hong Kong has found that the Omicron variant spreads 70 times faster than the delta variant. Watch this report.
