Madhulika Rawat, wife of General Bipin Rawat, was also aboard the Mi-17V5 that crashed in Coonoor, Tamil Nadu. 13 people died in this accident. Bipin Rawat was on his way to deliver a lecture at the Defense Services Staff College, Wellington. His chopper crashed minutes before it could reach its destination.

तमिलनाडु के कुन्नूर में दुर्घटनाग्रस्त हुए एमआई-17वी5 में जनरल बिपिन रावत की पत्नी मधुलिका रावत भी सवार थीं। इस दुर्घटना में 13 लोगों की मौत हो गई। बिपिन रावत वेलिंगटन के डिफेंस सर्विसेज स्टाफ कॉलेज में व्याख्यान देने जा रहे थे। उनका चॉपर अपने गंतव्य पर पहुंचने से कुछ मिनट पहले ही दुर्घटनाग्रस्त हो गया।
