At long last, when the Indian Navy was pitched into battle for the first time since Independence, it performed brilliantly. Three veterans who have been kind enough to participate in this discussion are:
Commodore Ranjit Rai, former Director, Naval Intelligence, writer, commentator and analyst,
Vice Admiral Pramod Chander Bhasin, Director General of India's Advanced Technology Vessel project and involved with it since its inception, apart from other key appointments &
Commodore Sunil Nandan Singh, who was a young Midshipman (rank between Cadet and Sub Lieutenant) on board INS Khukri in the 1971 Indo-Pak War and one of the survivors after the ship sank on being targeted by the enemy.
