Compared to 2020, capital expenditure increased by 38.3% in first half of 2021: CEA

During a virtual media briefing, Chief Economic Advisor to the Government of India, Dr Krishnamurthy Subramanian said, “Compared to 2020, there has been a 38.3 per cent increase in capital expenditure in the first half of 2021, which is noteworthy. Since capital expenditures are much higher this year, it is important to understand the inflation dynamics.”
