Bengaluru Police on Sunday refused to sanction Munawwar Farooqui's stand-up comedy program amid protests by Hindu right-wing outfits. These organizations have alleged that the comedian had hurt the sentiments of Hindus in one of his programs. While directing the concerned auditorium to cancel Farooqui's show, the police officer said that he is a controversial person.

Bengaluru Police ने हिंदू दक्षिणपंथी संगठनों के प्रदर्शन के बीच रविवार को Munawwar Farooqui के स्टैण्डअप हास्य कार्यक्रम को मंजूरी देने से इनकार कर दिया. इन संगठनों ने आरोप लगाया है कि हास्य कलाकार ने अपने एक कार्यक्रम में हिंदुओं की भावनाओं को आहत किया था. पुलिस अधिकारी ने संबंधित ऑडिटोरियम को Munawwar Farooqui के शो को रद्द करने का निर्देश देते हुए कहा कि वे एक विवादित व्यक्ति हैं.
