Sarawakians will go to the ballot boxes to choose a new state government on December 18, Election Commission chairman Datuk Abdul Ghani Salleh announced on Wednesday (Nov 24) after chairing a special meeting in Kuching.
He also said that nomination day for the 12th Sarawak election would be on December 6, allowing for 12 days of campaigning.
