A delegation of Trinamool Congress (TMC) MPs in Delhi met Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday over allegations of brutality being faced by party workers at the hands of Tripura Police. In a relief for former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh, the Supreme Court has granted him interim protection from arrest in an alleged extortion case. While granting the same, the court directed Param Bir Singh to join the investigation.
