In a major boost to the Indian Navy, INS Visakhapatnam was commissioned on November 21, Sunday by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh at the Naval Dockyard in Mumbai. It is the first stealth-guided missile destroyer ship of Project 15B and a crucial step for the Navy to demonstrate its indigenous capability to build complex combat platforms. The destroyer is capable to enhance the Navy’s capacity and firepower to battle threats by a margin. The Defence Minister was the guest of honour at the commissioning event. Watch video,

स्वदेश में निर्मिति INS Visakhapatnam रविवार को Indian Navy में शामिल हो गया. रक्षामंत्री Rajnath Singh ने मुंबई डॉकयार्ड में कमीशन समारोह में भाग लेकर नौसेना को सौंपा. भारतीय नौसेना के इस युद्धपोत में भारत की सबसे ताकतवर मिसाइलें लगी है. इनमें Brahmos और Barak मिसाइलें शामिल हैं. इस दौरान राजनाथ सिंह ने इस समारोह में आने पर खुशी जाहिर की. देखें वीडियो
