Kent groups aim to tackle period poverty problem

Schoolgirls across Kent are struggling to afford sanitary products.

That's according to the Red Box Project which has been set up to help tackle period poverty in the county.

It comes after it was revealed that as many as 1 in 9 girls can't afford to buy sanitary items.
