The Housing Minister, Kit Malthouse, has welcomed plans to build hundreds of new homes in Ebbsfleet.
Malthouse visited the garden city after approval was given to 500 new homes.
This is part of plans to build 6,000 houses at Castle Hill in the next ten years.
