Kent Medical Schools ready to tackle staff shortage

The new Kent and Medway Medical School in Canterbury are hoping to help tackle the shortage of nurses and doctors in the county.

In their first round of recruitment they have received more than a thousand applications from students for the 100 places available in the first year.

Dr Philip Chan, from the Kent and Medway Medical School joined us in the studio.
