In 2015, the Modi government launched India's most ambitious scheme till date with an ambitious target: the #PradhanMantriAwasYojana. The objective was to provide housing to all by 2022.
As the deadline approached, it became clear that the target might just be too impossible to achieve. So, the #Modi government did what it does best: present data in palatable ways. Now, with a year to go, multiple problems have cropped up with the scheme, with some beneficiaries getting #scammed left, right and centre.
